STEM CLUB

Laureates SIE (Ebonyi laureates) STEM club previously known as our Tech Club was created in October 2021 as part of events to mark the 25th anniversary of our state, Ebonyi.

Through our STEM club we have shared countless opportunities to Ebonyians. We have monthly meetings held at the end of each month. During our monthly meeting we have our newly introduced STEM talk. We also share learning challenges and wins to encourage one another. Members also share learning targets for the next month.

Our tech club members have won various scholarships shared on our page which includes;

Other scholarships won by members include;

ALX Africa software Engineering scholarship, Women techsters Bootcamp, Ingressive For Good product design scholarship, Coursera Financial aid and LinkedIn free learning.

 

Our tech club divides scholarship winners into cohorts based on their learning tracks and randomly assigns leaders to each cohorts.

Cohort leaders are usually chosen by a computer program. They are assigned to motivating scholarship winners to complete their programs successfully. Additionally, STEM club members are assigned accountability partners to aid their learning further. We have a total of 155 members in our STEM club

SCHOLARSHIP CLUB

Laureates SIE (Ebonyi laureates) has a free scholarship guidance group for Ebonyians where we share scholarship opportunities and resources for scholarships.

We acknowledge that Education is a way to combat poverty in Ebonyi state and yet education costs a fortune that the poor cannot afford. This is why we created a free scholarship guidance group for Ebonyians to aid them access free education.

We have a total of 122 members in our scholarship group

We have also held a total of two free scholarship webinars targeted at the Chevening, commonwealth and other scholarships.
